Aerometries was one project in a series of experiments investigating the use of small electronics and open source programming as research, drawing, and construction tools. It harnessed a self-navigating quadcopter as a painting tool, registering its own movements across a canvas grid through the movement of pigment and the recording and simulcasting of aerial video.
